IMPLEMENTATION IT-BASED INTERACTIVE POWTOON MEDIA FOR THE KKGI MI TANA TORAJA

Abstract

This training aims to provide participants with knowledge about implementation. IT-based interactive Powtoon media for the KKGI MI Tana Toraja teacher group to provide training and assistance to participants in developing Powtoon Interactive media that can be used at all grade levels. This training uses the in-Drill Practice method and workshops. The targets in the training were teachers in the KKGI MI Tana Toraja Teacher group in Tana Toraja at the Ge'tengan Tana Toraja Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School. The training has been carried out in two stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. The preparation stage is preparing materials and tools, the implementation stage is designing PowerPoint interactive media, presentations and demonstrations both independently and in groups. In training, teachers are assisted from designing the manufacture of media to how to use it. The evaluation of the service activities carried out was a PowerPoint interactive media simulation. This community service activity has been running effectively, the results of observations during the training show that approximately 97% of the training participants showed seriousness and enthusiasm during the training. It can be seen that the training participants have understood the creation of IT-based Powtoon interactive media. Then the trainees have understood how to choose materials or materials that can be used as IT-based Powtoon interactive media, and mastered how to implement IT-based Powtoon interactive media in accordance with the conditions of the school environment.
